尊敬的各位、老师，亲爱的同学们：

今天，我们迎来了新学期的天，新的学期对于我们师生而言，意味着学习生活的又一个开端，意味着生命历程的又一次开启，意味着人生理想的又一次飞翔。在这里，我有很多的期待和愿望要对同学们说：

Dear teachers and dear students,

Good morning,. Today, is the first day of the new semester,it means another beginning of learning , means another start of the life , means another flight of ideal. Here, I have some expectations and wishes for you

一是严格自律，学会做人。“在一个人成长的诸多因素中，知识固然重要，但比知识更重要的是能力，比能力更重要的是品德。”同学们要严格自律，遵规守纪，自觉提升个人的道德修养与人格品位。古人说“勿以善小而不为，勿以恶小而为之”“不积跬步，无以至千里;不积小流，无以成江河”，就是说，每个人都知道什么是坏的，什么是好的，但人与人的区别就在于，是否能把身边的小事当作大事来做。比如：每天上课不浪费一分一秒，每天的作业坚持独立完成，每天设法看几页有益的书，等等。只有这样聚沙成塔，厚积薄发，优点积少成多，才能成就精彩人生。

First one, self-discipline, "In many factors of a person's growth, knowledge is important, but more important than knowledge is ability, and character is more important than ability" Students should be strict self-discipline. Everyone knows what is bad and what is good, but the difference between people lies in whether they can treat the small things around them as big things. For example, don't waste a minute in class every day, do your homework independently every day, try to read a few pages of a book every day, and so on.

二是严守计划，学会学习。不同时期都有生命的主旋律，青少年时期就是要咬定学习不放松。大家要制定科学可行的学习计划，规划好新学期的目标，并严格执行，告别拖沓、告别应付学习的不良行为，端正学习态度，养成良好的行为习惯，养成热爱阅读的习惯。

Second, strictly abide by the plan, learn to learn. Different periods have the theme of life, Dare to study hard at your age. We should make a scientific study plan and goal of the new semester, and carry them out , Don't procrastination ,correct learning attitude, form a good habit of behavior, develop the habit of reading.

三是胸怀感谢，学会感恩。同班同学之间要相互友爱，要尊敬和感恩老师，要感恩父母，我认为，感恩不只是一种回报，感恩更是一种责任，是对父母、对学校、对社会、对国家的一种担当。

Third, Learn to be grateful Classmates should love each other, to respect teachers, be grateful to parents, I think, gratitude is a kind of responsibility to parents, to the school, to the society, to the country

四是胸怀理想，学会自信。希望同学们从自我做起，从现在做起，胸中有理想，每天有目标，心中有自信，满怀学习和奋斗的激情

Fourth, mind ideal, learn to be confident. I hope students start from yourselves, start from now, there is the ideal ,goals and confidence in the heart, and keep full of passion for learning
