经过初赛的遴选，上海高藤致远创新学校有5名同学进入了4月8日的决赛当中，本场比赛由来自G10的沈同学和G12的许同学主持，并且由Richard、Lorraine、Leah和Shirley四位老师担任裁判。接下来让我们一起来回顾一下决赛中小选手们的精彩表现吧!

After the preliminary round of public speaking competition, 5 students entered the final which was hosted by Cherry of G10 and Kevin of G12 and judged by our teachers Richard、Lorraine、Leah and Shirley.Now let's take a look back how they did in the contest!

本次决赛分为两轮：轮即兴演讲及第二轮命题演讲。

The final was divided into two rounds:the impromptu speech and the prepared speech

轮:即兴演讲

每个选手在演讲之前随机抽取题目，并且有15分钟的时间进行准备，之后将登台进行2-3分钟的即兴演讲。这个环节对于选手们的知识储备和短时间内的构思及应变能力有很高的要求。在这一轮当中G11和G12年级的选手们有较大的优势，但是G9和G10的同学们在面临这么难的题目也展示出强大的勇气，表达出了自己独特的观点，令人印象深刻!

Before the speach, the contestants randomly selected a topic and had 15 mins for the preparation of a 2-3 mins speach. This round is quite demanding for contestants’ knowldge and their ability to think and adapt in such a short time. G11 and G12 students have some advantages due to their higher grade, however, it’s very impressive that the contestants from G9 and G10 showed great courage and expressed their unique idea in this round

在轮即兴演讲之后，裁判们进行了轮的计分，在这段计分的空挡G11的徐晨豪同学为大家带来了精彩的演唱。

After the first round of impromptu speech, the judges carried out the first round of scoring. During this period, Harry (from G11) brought us a wonderful singing.

第二轮：命题演讲

这一轮的演讲内容是选手们预先准备的，相对来说大家的熟悉程度会高很多，选手们的内容准备和演讲技巧的发挥比轮都要更好些，给出的观点和论据都更详实,并且有更强的组织性。

The speeches of this round were prepared in advance by the contestants, which were much more familiar to them. The contestants' preparation of content and presentation skills were all better than that of the first round and their opinions and arguments were more detailed and well organized.

比赛结果

在经过两轮精彩的比赛之后，G11的张皓程以深刻的观点、稳健的台风及对节奏的娴熟把控，最终夺得了冠军!

After two rounds of wonderful competition, Alan Zhang of G11 won the champion with his profound perspective, steady style and skillful control of the rhythm.

G12的王同学展现了出色的临场应变能力和娴熟的的英语表达能力，最后以微弱的差距获得亚军。

Koroby Wang of G12 showed her excellent adaptability and fluent English expression, and finally came in the second place by a narrow margin.

G11的江同学在演讲中展现了极大的热情和强大的感染力，最后获得了季军。

Jacky Jiang of G11 showed great enthusiasm and strong appeal in his speeches, and finally won the third place.
