秋风清新，天气怡人。处处充满了新学期的希望。在金秋9月，我们迎来了新的学期。2021年9月1日，上海金苹果学校国际部全体师生欢聚在国际部新校区，举行以主题为“新校园，高品质，高要求，擦亮我们共同的金苹果”的开学典礼，共同开启新的篇章。

国际部涂校长发言致辞

亲爱的各位同学，各位老师，大家新学期好!

今天我们开学典礼的主题是：新校园，高品质，高要求，擦亮我们共同的金苹果!

首先，我们来说一下新校园，虽然我们是一所办学21年的老学校，21年前这个校园就是金苹果小学部校园，后来租借成为上海浦东德国学校，到今天的金苹果学校国际部独立校区，校区拥有室内体育馆，小剧院，自助餐厅，高端国际幼儿园，我们正在抓紧时间搭建另一个室内体育馆，健身房，以及环绕校园的塑胶跑道。虽然暂时有些地方不尽如人意，但是我相信经过一周左右的时间，学校就会变得完美。

其次，我们来说一下高品质，本学期我们有一批优秀的新同学脱颖而出，成功被金苹果录取，今年加上我们幼儿园，国际部一共扩班9个班级。大批高端的双语老师和外教老师也加盟金苹果，对大家的到来表示热烈的欢迎。

本学期为了加强所有同学文化专业课程的学习，为所有同学学术发展打下坚实的基础，本学期 周五下午以及拓展课时间我们增加了10%的文化课程学习，以后每周五下午放学时间推迟到2：50，请大家安排好自己的时间。

本学期体育课是学校最重要的课程，无体育不青春，我们期望所有同学和老师踊跃参加到体育活动中去，切实提升体育课程的内涵。不仅如此，在B楼三楼我们打造了艺术和音乐空间，营造良好的艺术氛围。

本学期我们也会一如既往地鼓励大家多阅读，语言支持中心和阅读中心位于B楼2.5层和3.5层以及四楼区域，我们也会给大家打造丰富多彩的阅读馆，希望所有同学能够沉浸在书本的海洋，通过阅读提升自身的综合素养。

接下来我来说一下高要求。礼貌礼仪，行为习惯，好的学习氛围一直是国际部德育管理的核心和重点，成绩的好坏决定走得远不远，而品德的好坏决定走的方向对不对。一个人的思维和认知往往决定一个人的命运。思维决定行动，行动决定命运，希望所有同学能够树立正确的人生观和价值观，树立远大的志向，上好人生课!

最后，让我们所有老师和同学们一起打造有修养，文明，团结，积极向上，充满正能量的学校氛围!祝大家新学期诸事顺利，每天都开开心心，每天都充满了激情和正能量，谢谢!

国际部外教代表Damion发言：

I would like to both thank you and congratulate you on this exciting day. You are arriving here to SGAS for what is sure to be a transformative and life-changing new chapter in your life. I would like to begin by first being grateful and thankful for everything we have here. Particularly , "I am thankful and grateful for my teachers , I am thankful and grateful for my leaders and I am thankful and grateful for my school". Let's begin our school year together in this spirit as we learn , grow and develop in this new environment.

Dear teachers and students, good morning. I’m Sichen You from CAHS grade 12, and you can call me Howard. It’s an honor to stand here as a student representative

New semester, new outlook. So of course the most important thing is to have a goal to strive for. As a senior student who has already been studying and living here for a while, my suggestion is ——Be more practical. instead of day-dreaming the Impossible (some unrealistic stuff), set an accurate and realistic goal. I tend to pursue short-term goals, break down everything into small chunks Because(cuz)they are clear and easy to reach, otherwise, you might lose hope and motivation halfway. In other words, 不要好高骛远，脚踏实地一步步地慢慢来.

There’s a quote by a writer and poet named GK Chesterton hich says that,” anything worth doing is worth doing badly the first time.任何值得去做的事情，次都值得以不完美开端。” We all make mistakes, which is a super common thing. But in most cases, people don't like mistakes. All too often, people want to be perfect, in everything, and end up with frustration and disappointment. That is because the standards that we set for ourselves are too high, too intimidating, which will easily stress us out, and if that happens, most people might choose to delay it, or even abandon it. So why not just jump into it , just do it instead of wasting time worrying if its good or bad. Perhaps (Probably) it might be not a great (good) outcome, but at least you have tried, (then it would not end up with something too bad.) Reword this sentence, I don't understand it.

同学们，让我们好好给自己的人生不同阶段定下一系列明确并切实的目标，并且去放手一搏。

哪怕结果是不完美的，当你回头看，很多时候实际上做的并没有那么糟糕。简单点说，不管结果如何，努力了就一定不会差。
