寒假即将开始，为了使孩子们度过一个安全、健康、文明、有意义的假期，现将学生放假时间，下学期开学及假期注意事项等告知与您。

The winter vacation is about to begin. In order to let the children have a safe, healthy, civilized and meaningful holiday, we will inform you of the holiday schedule and the matters needing attention in the winter vacation.

一、放假时间

I. Holiday Schedule

2021年1月14日——2021年2月21日

14th January, 2021 —— 21st, February, 2021

1、报到：2021年 2月 21日下午1:00开始报到，报到先到财务室交学费(财务室在行政楼三楼301室，缴费清单已发或邮寄)，缴费结束后凭发票或收据，如之前已经在银行转账，请带好银行汇款凭证到学校财务室开票，并带好学生证到教务处注册，下午17：45进行班会、交寒假作业，凭学生证注册章(或教务处证明)领取教材等。(当天没有校车。因巨峰路两侧停车位有限，建议家长绿色出行。)

1、Registration：Registration starts at 1:00 p.m, 21st, February. You should go to the finance office first to pay the tuition fee (the Finance Office is in room 301 on the third floor of the administrative building, and the payment list has been sent or mailed). If you have already transferred money in the bank, please bring the bank transfer voucher to the school Finance Office to make out an invoice. After that, you should register at the Academic Affairs Office with your student ID card and invoices or receipts. The class meetings begin at 17:45 pm. Students should hand in the winter homework, get textbooks with the registration stamp in student card (or proof from Academic Affairs Office). (There is no school bus service on that day. Since the parking spaces on both sides of Jufeng Road are limited, parents are advised to choose public transportation.)

2、开学：2021年2月22日正式开学，按规定穿着校服。

三、寒假作业、学习要求

1、寒假是知识沉淀、消化、积累的一个好机会。家长应督促孩子按照老师的要求，利用寒假时间，总结、反思一学期学业情况，查漏补缺，高质量完成假期作业(作业清单已下发或邮寄)，认真做好预习和开学准备工作，尤其是利用假期进行语言(雅思、托福)的培训和提升。

2、要指导孩子制定合理的寒假生活计划，安排好学习、休息和娱乐时间，养成良好的生活习惯和作息规律。并结合孩子自身实际，进行培优补差。夯实基础，拔高提升的同时关注孩子独立思考、科学高效的良好学习习惯的养成。

Winter vacation is a good chance to digest and accumulate knowledge. Parents should urge their children to make use of the winter vacation to summarize and reflect on the academic performance of a semester, make up for the missing and complete the winter vacation homework with high quality (the homework list has been issued or mailed). Students should preview and prepare for the beginning of the semester, especially the use of the holiday for language training (IELTS and TOEFL) and improvement.

四、注意事项

1、疫情期间，建议家长不要带学生去高风险地区，生命安全高于一切。在家合理安排学习、生活、室内外活动、培养健康的作息习惯。

2、家长要履行监护人责任，对孩子加强交通安全和燃放烟花爆竹、防火、防盗、防侵害、饮食等方面的安全教育。

3、要指导孩子制定合理的寒假生活计划，安排好学习、休息和娱乐时间，养成良好的生活习惯和作息规律。并结合孩子自身实际，进行培优补差。夯实基础，拔高提升的同时关注孩子独立思考、科学高效的良好学习习惯的养成。

3、Parents should guide the children to make a reasonable winter life plan, alternate work with rest, develop good habits and a good routine. And to do some extra training combined with the children's own reality. We should lay a solid foundation and pay attention to the development of independent thinking, scientific and efficient learning habits of children.

4、新春佳节为中华民族传统节日，引导孩子弘扬民族文化。假期在家主动承担力所能及的家务劳动，孝敬长辈、关心父母，养成热爱劳动的良好品质，培养独立生活的本领。

4、Spring Festival is a traditional festival of the Chinese nation. We should guide children to carry forward national culture. Children should be educated and guided to show filial piety to their parents, care for their family, be diligent and thrifty, take the initiative to undertake housework within their power, develop the good quality of loving labor, and cultivate the ability to take care of themselves.

5、引导孩子正确认识理财与消费关系，丰富理财知识，增强理财意识和规划能力，合理使用压岁钱。教育孩子穿戴整洁、简约大方，不染发，未成年人不酗酒，不吸烟，生活节俭，从小养成良好习惯。

5、Guide children to correctly understand the relationship between financial management and consumption, enrich financial knowledge, enhance financial awareness and planning ability , and rationally use lucky money. Teach children to dress neatly, simply and elegantly; do not dye hair, do not drink, do not smoke, live a frugal life and develop good habits.

6、培养学生的自控能力，合理使用手机。树立合理有度的上网意识，提高网络信息辨别能力，并能利用网络资源解决学习、生活中的实际问题。

6、Cultivate children's network literacy, establish a reasonable Internet awareness, improve the ability to identify network information, and use network resources to solve practical problems in learning and life.

7、要引导孩子利用好青少年活动中心(宫)、社区实践指导站等未成年人校外活动场所以及本地科技馆、图书馆、体育馆、文化馆和博物馆等公共资源，积极参加社会实践体验活动。

7、Children should be guided to make good use of off-campus activities for minors such as youth activity center (palace), community practice guidance station, local science and technology museum, library, gymnasium, cultural center, museum and other public resources, and actively participate in social practice activities.
